The Philips WelcomeEye Connect 3 video doorphone is a modern solution that guarantees comfort and safety while managing access to the house. It is perfect for those looking for a reliable, functional and easy-to-use system to monitor the entrance in 3K resolution, even when they are away from home. The set has a 7-inch touchscreen monitor, which offers a high-resolution image. The dimensions of the monitor measure 132× 190×18 mm. The integrated Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) enables to remotely control the video doorphone via the Philips Door Connect mobile app, available for Android and iOS. Thanks to it, one may observe surroundings in real time, talk to visiting guests and open the wicket or gate, either from home or remotely from anywhere in the world. The gate may also be opened with the help of Google and Alexa voice assistants, which additionally facilitate receiving notifications. One needs only to install the app and integrate it with the smartphone. The video doorphone features a number of functions that facilitate access management, including creating temporary QR codes that allow access to guests for a specified period of time. The built-in RFID feature allows to open the door or gate using RFID tags or cards in order to increase users’ safety and convenience. The system may also register images and videos of visits and store them on a microSD card (not included). One may access the recordings with the help of the app. Thanks to the emergency call, the video doorphone provides additional security, enabling children and the elderly to quickly contact the user via the monitor. The monitor also supports customizable MP3 ringtones, allowing to personalize notification sounds. The integrated proximity sensor automatically wakes up the screen upon approach, making it easier to use the device. The device is extremely easy to install, using two cables with the Polarity Protect function that prevents incorrect connection. The system is compatible with Philips video surveillance cameras, which allows for full integration with other monitoring devices. The Philips WelcomeEye Connect 3 is equipped with an advanced outdoor unit that ensures functionality and reliability in everyday use. The outdoor unit offers a wide viewing angle of 120° horizontally and approximately 165° diagonally, which allows full control of the surroundings before entering the house, and the 3K resolution ensures clear image. The night mode, in which the image remains colourful even without backlight, ensures excellent visibility in the dark. In addition, the outdoor unit is equipped with a backlit call button and a backlit business card, making it easier to use at night. The unit is surface-mounted. It controls the door electric strike (max. 12V 1,1A), as well as the gate. The dimensions of the outdoor unit measure 152x70x37 mm.
- Thanks to increased resistance to weather conditions (IP55 protection level) and protection against impacts (IK08), the video doorphone is perfect for any situation, regardless of weather conditions.
- The monitor made of 70% recycled plastic and the aluminium outdoor unit are not only durable but also environmentally friendly. The device is covered by a 3-year warranty, and its extension options include connecting up to 3 monitors and 2 outdoor units as well as 4 IP cameras. This makes the system scalable and flexible in configuration.
Additionally, the set may be configured to work in a two-family system.
